Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal benefit society that was formed to build up the church thru acts of charity and to render financial aid to members and their families.
KofC was founded in 1882, by Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. The order has grown to include over 14,000 councils, with more than 1.73 million members through out the United States, Canada, Poland, Mexico, Philippines, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, the Virgin islands, Guatemala, Guam, Saipan, Poland and Ukraine.
